Taylor & Jordan celebrated their wedding on the beautiful beaches of Destin, Florida with a reception at WaterVue at Brooks Street in downtown Fort Walton Beach.
Details tell a story all their own revealing style, passions, and family connections. Taylor's details are pure laid back class, perfectly matching her sunny Florida beach ceremony.
Laughter and prayer lead Taylor and her bridesmaids into the day. Prayer is always the best way to start the day, but when the most important people in your life pray for your marriage it's a next level life experience. I love what I do for moments like these.
Jordan carried on the laid back beach style well with a light blue suite jacket and matching watch...
...and plenty of smiles all around.
If you prefer the traditional first look during your ceremony I highly recommend a "no-look" or hidden first-look beforehand, especially if you might be a bit more of an introverted couple. It's nice to have another moment to take in the day, just the two of you. It's also a great time for prayer, exchanging letters, or a thoughtful gift.
Whether your first look is before your ceremony or during, it's always a special moment. Did you see that look? Go look again! :)
Taylor & Jordan + this sunset = dream wedding day.
Party time! With a short drive from Destin to downtown Fort Walton Beach we're onto WaterVue, a waterfront venue with plenty of coastal charm. (A note for photographers: Continuous lighting is definitely the way to go for most formal dances if you have the time and space to set it up. It's less distracting than flash and sets a beautiful scene for both photos and guests. If you also shoot video or work with a videographer this makes life easy for everyone.)
To celebrate motherhood Taylor gave herself a "mom cut" secretly and the mid-reception reveal was absolutely legendary! And with another sparkler exit survived (I love them really!) we sent Taylor & Jordan off in style! JK it was a faux exit. They partied on! A "faux exit" is another part of this great wedding that I highly recommend if you plan on going late into the night or have many older or younger guests. You'll want everyone to be able to participate in your exit celebration with you. Thanks for taking a look at Taylor & Jordan's photos with us. Whether you're looking for your wedding photographer, a photographer or vendor yourself, or you just stumbled here through the internet we would love to meet you!
